FX-7 4lb Anchor f/16-27' Boats
In test after test, from coast to coast and from around the world, no anchor in history has been called "The Worlds Best Anchor" by more boaters and respected marine experts than Fortress...and for good reason.
Years of research and development, high-tech materials and manufacturing and thousands of real world tests are your assurance of performance, quality, and value. Fortress weighs only half as much as heavier steel anchors and yet outperforms them all.
Why? Because the Fortress design does not depend upon weight to provide world class performance. All this adds up to your best value in anchoring safety and convenience.

This is a great anchor. I have a 21ft tidewater baymax and it fits the anchor well perfectly. Great holding anchor.

This is the only anchor that our family will buy. All five of our boats and pontoons use this anchor! Will never buy any other anchor easy to put together and vary dependable even in high wind and waves. Always holds and has yet to release on us.
i was skeptical when received this anchor in a small box! i have a 20' boat and holds in the sand no problem!Highly recommend
I use this as a back anchor for my 21’ center console. It’s easy to toss and holds really well.
Holds well in the structure found In Puget Sound
Being a lightweight anchor it is difficult to throw very far out in front of the boat. I have a 25ft tri-toon and it pulls the anchor loose very easily with any light wind. I have tried both angle settings and neither work well. I have had it for 2 months. Disappointing and a waste of money.
I just got the anchor, have not had a chance to test it in the water but I can tell you the installation of the flukes was a pain. First of all, not sure why they use flat slotted screws as oppose to Phillips. Trying to hold the anchor, and the flukes while trying at the same time trying to screw in a FLAT SLOTTED screws that keeps falling from the screw driver head because it is not a Phillips is a pain...end up having to put the anchor in the vise to hold. Also, the nuts that attach the ba…ck of the mud guards are partially blocked by the anchor making installation difficult. As a side note, i am pretty handy as a former car machinic so I know what I am doing.
In my opinion this is hands down the best anchor on the market, light but effective. Here in the Florida sand bars you need a good grab, I have two, back and front.....it's just the best. I use a 4 foot chain, and braided anchor line
This is a very lightweight anchor that really grips the bottom of any surface and held our 23’ boat well, even in the beach wind. It does NOT come assembled and I had to put it together. I was not expecting that but it was not too difficult. The anchor worked great and I would highly recommend it.
