After a dozen times of use & putting it away each time the cable casing buckled & split. It does work well.

I have had it out ice fishing once so far. I have my Garmin striker 5 tuned in beautifully with this ducer. It showed up in the settings as the incorrect freq, I changed it and no issues.

didn't find out until after the return period that it had a short in the cable. now stick with it

Bought it and figured it read water temperature like the other ones. And it doesn't. And sometimes it's reading the depth wrong but only by a foot deeper at most
