There are less expensive extension poles, but I purchased to use with the other Shurhold products such as the fish net and the dock line holder. It is strong, no sign of rust after many uses in brackish/salty water.

If want a pole that can take most anything you could dish out, this is it. I have never found anything like it. The fore grip is wonderful when washing or snagging a dock. It is standard threads on the end, so just add the parts you need for it. Very nice black and gold finish. Now I only use one pole for all things on the boat, making it really handy to not have all that clutter on the dock. I should mention that this is a big pole. It is heavier than other poles and it probably doesn't…
