I am refurbishing a 2012 Yamaha. The old gunwale was is really rough shape. The original Yamaha gunwale was fitted. It was some type of pre-shaped metal with rubber on it. So the original fitment was very good. During the install, I datummed from where the bottom hull molding met the top. The result was not perfect. So the shape is not match a clear flowing line. The rub rail kit fit great.. came with screws, though i may change to bolts because of the exposure under my gunnel rail channel.
